Bear Creek

A Coho salmon unsuccessfully leaps over a concrete water diversion dam in Bear Creek, Oregon. The irony of the photo is a 1.5 million dollar fish ladder (left in image) does not attract fish as intended. As a result, many anadromous fish loose access to historic spawning habitat in this urban Rogue River tributary.
